As a Manufacturing Engineer at Trystar, you will play a vital role in driving the efficiency, quality, and productivity of our manufacturing processes. You will design, implement, and improve manufacturing methods, equipment, and systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams—including production, engineering, and quality assurance—to ensure the successful production of high-quality Trystar products.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing processes for electrical and metal fabrication equipment, ensuring efficient production flow, adherence to quality standards, and optimization of resources.
- Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate machinery, tools, and equipment for manufacturing processes.
- Optimize equipment performance, maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Continuously improve manufacturing processes by implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and streamline operations to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive work instructions, procedures, and documentation for manufacturing processes to ensure consistency, safety, and quality.
- Collaborate with the engineering team during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new designs, providing input on Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA).
- Collaborate with the quality team to develop and implement quality control plans, inspection methods, and testing protocols.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the production team, resolving issues and ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
- Conduct cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency while maintaining product quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, procurement, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of manufacturing processes.
- Communicate effectively to convey technical information, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety in the manufacturing environment.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on metal fabrication, electro-mechanical, and/or electronic assembly.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, electrical systems, metal fabrication techniques, and electrical-mechanical assembly.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with quality control and assurance processes and tools (e.g., statistical process control, failure mode and effects analysis).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing manufacturing environment.
