About the role
Jabil is expanding into a full 24/7 operation and is hiring Technicians for various shifts. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, calibration, change overs, and preventive maintenance for tooling and other equipment in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust SMT equipment while ensuring high quality and process stability.
- Perform setups, changeovers, and material verification for each process step.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on various equipment including laser marking systems, glue dispensing machines, screen printers, SPI systems, pick & place machines, and reflow ovens.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues related to solder paste printing, component placement, inspection, and reflow profiling.
- Create, modify, and optimize SMT programs.
- Document downtime, maintenance activities, root cause analysis, and improvements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve OEE, yields, CP/CPK, and reduce rework.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, ESD controls, and manufacturing best practices.
- Cover overtime requirements as needed.
Requirements
- Electronics Industry Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required or equivalent experience.
- Six months of demonstrated experience, ideally 2 plus years.
- Experience with at least one of the following: Laser marking systems, Glue dispensing machines (CAMALOT), Screen printers (DEK), SPI systems (KOH YOUNG), Pick & place machines (FUJI NXT, AIM), Reflow ovens (ITW/VITRONIC).
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay

Schedule
- 12-hour overnight shift.
- Rotating 36/48 hour weeks with 8 hours of overtime per month.
- Shift A: 6am to 6pm.
- Week 1: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
