This role involves troubleshooting and problem-solving, often as a leader with advanced knowledge, to correct manufacturing inefficiencies, processes, and systems when failures occur.
Responsibilities
- Champion and lead Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Utilize Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Material Information Flow Chart (MIFC) to drive improvement activities.
- Create and utilize standards to evaluate improvement activities.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve mechanical failures associated with tools.
- Ensure safety in process design and execution of daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards (ISO, TS, etc.).
- Guarantee quality outputs from daily activities through proper data collection and analysis.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and analyze process design of experiments (DOEs).
- Ensure timely execution of planned activities.
- Provide cost-efficient process design and improvements.
- Complete cost justifications with acceptable ROI.
