Manufacturing Engineer

Work Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent lawful resident of the U.S. Summary Design Tooling (CAD 2-D and 3-D modeling), Coordinate design, development, quoting, specifications, drawings, vendor activity, installation, and support of equipment and processes for manufacture of Orscheln products. Autonomy of activity is a function of experience, demonstrated ability and grade level. Preferred Educational Experience BSME, BSIE or two (2) year technical degree. Preferred Work Experience Minimum three (3) years work experience in engineering support field. Essential Functions Develop tooling, capital equipment, gauge and fixturing requirements for new products. Proficient in Design using CAD 2-D and 3-D modeling. Develop manufacturing routings. Execute typical administrative procedures (i.e.: stock requisitions, RFQ’s, ECR’s, ECN’s). Review production capacity Define process capability through measurement, verification, process studies, documentation and statistical methods. Support continuous improvement team activities. Manage the areas of Orscheln business as assigned. Troubleshoot tool, equipment and process issues Develop and implement error proofing Assist with operator training as required Develop job instruction sheets MRB Authority/Disposition Non-Essential Functions Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications And Desired Skills Knowledge of mfg processes Proficient in Design using CAD 2-D and 3-D modeling.
