Key Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing processes and work instructions for build-to-print products
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and support production ramp-up
- Support machined components and complex assembly manufacturing
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), facility layouts, and assembly line layouts
- Drive Lean and Kaizen initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve manufacturing issues and optimize production flow
- Provide hands-on manufacturing engineering support across machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (or Associate's degree in Engineering Technology with equivalent experience)
- 7–12 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in the aerospace or defense industry
- Strong knowledge of machining, welding, metal fabrication, and assembly processes
- Experience developing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Proven Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen continuous improvement experience
- Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder)
