About The Manufacturing Engineering Team The Manufacturing Engineering team is responsible for creating, supporting, and improving manufacturing operation related processes and maintaining manufacturing operations related items relative to business continuity with our contract manufacturing partners. Basic Qualifications/Skills Author and release Engineering Change Orders for complex products within Oracle ERPWork with Engineering Technicians and production personnel to optimize and streamline manufacturing processes within a LEAN manufacturing environment.Create, maintain, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Ensure Supplier and contract manufacturing partner conformance to NETSCOUT BOMsCollaborate with Project Managers and Quality Engineers to ensure effective implementation of the NETSCOUT ECO process, including reviewing and communicating with internal and external contract manufacturing and supplier stakeholders on impacts of any changes (e.g., inventory, WIP, open supplier orders, etc.)Promptly respond to manufacturing floor quality issues, taking appropriate action within the NETSCOUT Quality Management System.Effectively interact with organizations throughout the company and across time zones (technicians, product management, buyer/planners, quality, customer support, order management among others) to create value propositionsCollaborate with and support the NETSCOUT manufacturing and engineering organization related to product support and New Product Introduction (NPI)Other responsibilities as directed. Preferred Qualification/Skills Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent discipline/experienceMinimum 5 years’ related experience in manufacturing and/or systems engineering/operationsProven track record of driving manufacturing process efficiencies, process innovation, and continuous improvementStrong understanding of Oracle ERPProficiency in MS Office 365, Adobe, SharePoint OnlineExcellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills REQUIRED.Critical thinking, detail oriented, highly organized, willing to learn.Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems REQUIREDBackground in LEAN Six Sigma preferred.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines with low to high levels of oversight.Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Positive “Self-starting” attitude that demonstrates the ability to work with other engineers to influence and improve Manufacturing OperationsExtensive experience in new product introduction (NPI) and related processesAdditional applicable knowledge and skills preferred:Lean Manufacturing & Kaizen Training5S TrainingA+ Certification Working at NETSCOUT Benefits At NETSCOUT, our vision is to create a workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
