About the role
This is a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer role with a precision machining manufacturer that builds high-performance fluid handling equipment. You'll be in charge CNC programming, process development, and shop floor problem solving, with real input on how parts get made, not just paperwork.

The work
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (Mazak/Mazatrol and Haas environments)
- Support setup, prove out, and first article runs for new and existing parts
- Troubleshoot machining issues including surface finish, tolerances, tool wear, and chatter
- Diagnose CNC machine center issues and partner with maintenance on corrective action
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, process mapping)
- Support new product introduction and manufacturability of precision machined parts
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; support root cause and CAPA activities
Who we're looking for
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a precision machining environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Mazak/Mazatrol and Haas CNC equipment
- Demonstrated ability to write, modify, and optimize CNC programs
- Comfortable with manual machining equipment
- CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar) a plus
