Description

Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across complex manufacturing operations.
Develop, document, and optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and throughput.
Conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and drive long-term process stability.
Analyze production performance using data-driven methods to identify improvement opportunities.
Apply Lean manufacturing principles, including waste reduction, workflow optimization, and standard work creation.
Support new business opportunities through technical reviews, manufacturability assessments, and cost-competitive quoting.
Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input to reduce complexity, cost, and lead time.
Lead the industrialization of new products, including tooling requirements, process modeling, equipment selection, and documentation.
Plan and execute process validation activities (e.g., PPAP/APQP), including capability studies, trials, and risk assessments.
Develop workflows, work instructions, and process controls to ensure smooth transition from prototype to full production.
Conduct process assessments and feasibility analyses for new and existing products.
Prepare or support manufacturing cost estimates and process-based quotations, including materials, cycle times, tooling, and labor.

Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; metal stamping experience highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of process engineering, mechanical design principles, lean manufacturing, DFM, APQP, PPAP, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting quoting, cost analysis, and new business technical evaluations.
  • Experience with tooling, fixtures, validation, and process documentation.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CAD/SolidWorks and ERP (Plex) systems is a plus.
