Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing manufacturing operation supporting process improvement, new product introduction, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working directly on the production floor and driving operational excellence.

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes
• Support daily production activities and resolve manufacturing issues
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and production methods
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing launches
• Reduce scrap and improve equipment uptime
• Cook up with Production, Quality, Materials, and Engineering teams
• Support capital equipment implementation and facility improvements
• Aid with labor balancing, capacity planning, and production routing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related)
• 1 - 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• HVAC manufacturing experience
• New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Tooling and fixture design
• Kaizen, TPM, TAKT Time, and Capacity Planning experience
