Manufacturing Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for designing and manufacturing fixtures, machines, and tools, ensuring ergonomic and safety standards.
• Examines plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to ascertain if all safety precautions have been included.
• Aids in preparing Failure Mode Affects Analysis Reports.
• Facilitates compliance with all OSHA regulations relating to the plant.
• Assists in ergonomics programs and plant health and safety initiatives to prevent unsafe working conditions.
• Conducts plant surveys to assess exposure to hazards like noise, dust, fumes, and radiation.
• Ensures compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management systems, including ISO 14001 standards.
• Promotes a safety-conscious attitude, reports unsafe conditions or incidents, and adheres to all health, safety, and environmental policies per company and legal standards.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in computer software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and AutoCAD.
