About the role
Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This role is based in our Franklin, TN manufacturing facility.
Essential Functions
- Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation.
- Design and maintain 3D models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SolidWorks.
- Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and maintain engineering documentation.
- Support manufacturing by troubleshooting production and quality issues.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure successful product launches.
- Evaluate manufacturing equipment and support capital improvement projects.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to manufacturing operations.
- Maintain data tracking systems to ensure accurate data collection.
- Daily presence on the plant floor giving support to manufacturing operations.
- Own the assigned area.

Abilities
- Proficient in SolidWorks and CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Working knowledge of injection molding, stamping, welding, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of GD&T, metrology equipment, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and DMAIC.
- Able to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and processes.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience in injection molding and automated manufacturing environments preferred.
- Previous experience with robotics and PFMEA is a plus.
