Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for prototypes and production products, including forming, welding, and assembly.
- Support production teams by streamlining workflow, reducing setup time, and implementing practical process improvements.
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, routings, and labor assumptions to ensure competitive pricing and margin performance.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, and models to identify manufacturing risks and cost drivers.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including BOMs, routings, and ERP data.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support company growth.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering or fabrication experience.
- Experience with sheet metal processes including forming, welding, and laser cutting.
- Proven ability to support accurate estimating, quoting, and manufacturability evaluation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, problem-solving, and process optimization.
