Responsibilities
- Create and maintain routers in Oracle for manufactured products.
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes by conducting time studies and costing reviews.
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
- Create visual work instructions, standard operating procedures, and workflow diagrams to standardize shop processes.
- Conduct lean manufacturing projects as well as other duties as assigned.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Lead role in the implementation of manufacturing processes and techniques and the implementation of LEAN and use of Six Sigma tools.
- Ensure product and process quality by designing testing methods.
- Assist with investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for manufacturing quality issues.
- Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
- Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Answer questions and requests from both the floor and management.
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government or industry regulations.
- Help ensure manufacturing process and quality by keeping manufacturing equipment operational.
- Maintain a process database.
- Ensure compliance to all group systems, guidelines, and policies.
- Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related experience.
- Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in oil and gas equipment.
- Previous Oracle experience.
- Fabrication background is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to lead and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to be able to travel.
- Computer Skills: Oracle, MS Office, MS Project, SAP, SolidWorks, CAD, other.
