Manufacturing Engineer
About the role
The Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for driving process excellence, leading project lifecycle, supporting production and transfers, managing and mentoring teams, and solving problems and innovating within KNA manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Drive Process Excellence: Improve manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to increase productivity, enhance quality, and reduce manufacturing costs while optimizing resources.
- Lead Project Lifecycle: Plan, schedule, and execute detailed phases of manufacturing engineering work for moderate to major-scope projects, ensuring successful implementation.
- Support Production & Transfers: Provide day-to-day production support to Operations while taking a lead role in the inter-company transfer of manufactured products globally and domestically.
- Manage & Mentor Teams: Direct, coordinate, and manage the activities of engineers, technicians, and assigned resources assisting with project assignments.
- Solve Problems & Innovate: Conduct thorough investigations for research projects, identify technical or resource concerns, and implement swift corrective actions.
Requirements
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) from a four-year college or university.
- Proven Experience: 5 to 7 years of professional Engineering or Operations experience, including at least 2 years of dedicated project management experience.
- Technical & Lean Expertise: Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, tools, and processes, complemented by strong mechanical aptitude.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Office products, alongside expected skills in MS Project and Visio.
- Preferred Extras: Additional coursework in Lean/problem-solving techniques, and experience with new product production start-ups working with off-site design teams.
Qualifications
Commensurate with experience, the salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000, plus bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Plan.

Schedule

Works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to airborne particles. Noise level is usually high, requiring proper protective equipment.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Plan.
