The Plant Manager will uphold the standards and expectations set forth by upper management and is responsible for contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing functions. This position directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production and other production-related activities. The Plant Manager reports directly to the President/CEO and is part of the Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Launch new products into manufacturing
• Continuously improve processes, efficiencies, and product quality
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment
• Ensure program commitments for cycle time and process time are achieved
• Participate in lean manufacturing methodologies such as Kaizen events and value streams
• Develop Manufacturing Plans Standard Work Projects, including:
  • Tooling / Facilities Equipment Capacity
  • Tooling and Operations Concepts
  • Tool Specifications
  • Value Stream Flow Facility Floor Planning
  • Consumable Materials
  • Product Handling/Flow
• Oversee all aspects of multiple projects to ensure on-time and under-budget completion
• Review plans, specifications, and special provisions
• Work directly with internal and external engineering and design teams for product design and manufacture
• Provide representation at project meetings, including pre-manufacturing, pre-fabrication, and manufacturing meetings
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Recommend removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding entire products
• Occasional travel for business purposes may be required
• Maintain understanding and experience with safety requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing

Pay

$80,000 - $110,000 per year
