Manufacturing Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create/maintain production line layout.
• Order/maintain production line equipment.
• Co-ordinate process improvement projects.
• Work with PMs on quarterly capacity analyses (via time studies, takt time analysis, throughput, etc.).
• Support customer requests and assist with tours/audits of the production line.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Experience Requirements

• Min. 5 years experience in manufacturing environment – CTO and/or system integration experience is a plus.

Special Skill Requirements

• Knowledgeable on how to use layout creation software – i.e. AutoCAD, MS Visio, etc.
• Basic understanding of CTO process and has knowledge/experience in manufacturing and system integration process.
• Strong communication skills are a requirement, since customer interaction will be needed.
• Sun server configuration/set-up experience is a plus.
