Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help our business drive manufacturing productivity and efficiency through analysis, design, and implementation and/or installation of tools, processes, and equipment. The role rotates between projects and departments to gain exposure to various manufacturing processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, gathering input from operators, stakeholders, and equipment manufacturers.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Provide manufacturing decision‑making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Assist with managing capital expenditures, including project identification, justification, and completion.
• Deliver on productivity targets as outlined in the annual operating plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or other relevant technical fields, from an accredited university.
• Training with AutoCAD or other layout and design software.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
