Description
We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in developing and scaling the manufacturing of complex mechanical and electromechanical products. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and external manufacturing partners to bring innovative products from prototype to full-scale production. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, line layouts, fixtures, process FMEAs, and production control plans.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute prototype and pre-production builds while preparing for scalable, high-volume manufacturing.
- Partner with design engineering to improve manufacturability, quality, and production efficiency.
- Support design transfer activities and collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure successful product launches.
- Work with supply chain teams to source production equipment, tooling, materials, and components.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Optimize manufacturing processes and assembly operations for efficiency and long-term scalability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field with 2-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, or an Associate's degree with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing manufacturing processes for mechanical or electromechanical assemblies.
- Hands-on experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), process development, or production builds.
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Medical device manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), production line setup, assembly processes, and manufacturing optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- $75,000-$100,000+ depending on experience
- Higher compensation available for candidates with senior-level experience and exceptional qualifications
