This role plays a critical part in shaping the future state of operations by delivering scalable, efficient, and resilient manufacturing systems. The Manufacturing Engineer / Advanced Industrial Engineer - Lead directly influences cost structure, product quality, delivery performance, and the organization’s ability to grow and compete.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Lead a team focused on advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and throughput optimization initiatives.
  • Develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions tailored to complex manufacturing environments.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to identify and eliminate waste across operations.
  • Build and maintain advanced simulation, flow, and capacity models to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Create cost models, make-versus-buy analyses, and ROI justifications for capital expenditures and process investments.
  • Influence product design by applying DFMA principles, tolerance analysis, error-proofing strategies, and assembly feasibility studies.
  • Lead new product introduction (NPI) industrialization efforts, including production layouts, material flow design, and ramp-up strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement through structured events, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership across manufacturing and operations.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned to support operational excellence and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience with new product introduction processes and manufacturing process development
  • Experience supporting Cap Ex projects in manufacturing environments
  • Experience leading or mentoring other engineers
  • At least 7 years of industrial or operations engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Applicable experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
  • Knowledge/application of Six Sigma methodologies is preferred but not required

Travel required: 10-25%

Pay

The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year.

This is a permanent, hybrid position based in Green Bay, WI.
