About the role
This is a 12-month contract position located in Pontiac, IL, with a high possibility of extension. The role involves:
- 30% office work: PCN tasks, testing reports, prototype design, and manufacturing process analysis
- 70% shop floor and lab work: troubleshooting manufacturing processes and validating prototypes
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience (internships accepted as job experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Manufacturing or machining environmental experience
- Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
