Manufacturing Customer Service Representative (on-site)

About the Role

API Heat Transfer is a global leader in the design and manufacture of specialty heat exchangers and heat transfer solutions with a legacy spanning over 140 years. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who enjoys engaging with customers, providing solutions, and initiating growth. This role offers the opportunity to learn about and develop expertise in our product line by working directly with customers, products, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Handle general phone and email inquiries regarding orders from customers and sales representatives.
• Quote aftermarket spare parts (e.g., gaskets, O-rings, seals, standard bonnets, zinc anodes, tube plugs, separators, plate packs) including cross-referencing current and old part numbers and obtaining quotes from vendors.
• Review and accurately enter aftermarket spare parts orders.
• Assist with maintenance of the aftermarket quote log.
• Review spare parts orders for on-time shipments and gross margins, and report findings or issues.
• Coordinate and perform sales team activities associated with the RMA process.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent industry experience.
• At least two years of customer service experience in a professional environment and/or manufacturing company (preferred).
• Experience supporting internal and external customers.
• Heat exchange or mechanical knowledge is highly desired.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk within both office and production floor environments.
• Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
• Visual acuity for screens and documents.
• Ability to wear PPE on the shop floor.
• Frequent use of hands for typing and document handling.

Pay

Pay Range: $22 per hour (minimum) - $27 per hour (maximum).
