Manufacturing Coordinator - AMO (Kansas Road)

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot AMO process problems
• Set up lining and assembly machines as scheduled or required by breakdowns
• Ensure excellent quality product on assigned machines
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Communicate and escalate machine, tooling, and quality concerns
• Train and develop machine operators
• Promote a team environment on the shop floor
• Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred; job related experience would be considered
• Organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills (written and oral)
• Leadership skills
• Effective communication of machine, tooling, safety, quality problems
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training programs
• Mechanical and machine troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to various types of equipment that have vibration
• Exposure to noise levels in the work environment requiring hearing protection
