Roles & Responsibilities
- Work weekends and be flexible with working hours.
- Pick, label, and stage shop orders for manufacturing use.
- Coordinate the timely supply of parts to production lines.
- Think on your feet under pressure during high volume production days.
- Maintain speed and accuracy in tasks.
- Multitask effectively.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of SAP and WM modules or be willing to learn.
- Know the production lines and parts required to keep them running.
- Perform occasional cycle counts of warehouse inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Update various files and tracking mechanisms daily to achieve metrics.
- Communicate and resolve material-related concerns.
- Read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Write correspondence and present information effectively.
- Track the flow of material between warehouse storage locations and production floor.
- Recommend methods for improving associate efficiencies and reducing waste.
- Complete required training materials and attend scheduled company meetings.
- Investigate build floor concerns and provide timely updates.
- Assist other warehouse employees as needed.
Qualifications
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for the entire shift duration.
- Ability to operate a forklift and obtain a forklift license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Action-oriented and detail-oriented.
- Technical savvy, including the use of various computer applications and systems.
- Experience with processing small parcel packages through FedEx and UPS software.
