Qualifications
- High school diploma, transcript, or GED required
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor
- Problem solving ability
- Ability to work well with people
- Computer skills preferred
- Some moderate lifting required
- Must be on-time, reliable, good communicator, detail oriented, and work well with others
- Reliable transportation and working telephone required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
Responsibilities
- Manufacture blood and blood components
- Prepare blood and blood components for labeling
- Label blood and blood components
- Triage whole blood according to inventory needs
- Manufacture apheresis red blood cells
- Perform maintenance of equipment as appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing lab
- BPS and Reference Lab orders
- Take SOPs as appropriate
Pay
$15.00-$20.00 based on education and/or experience; additional pay if fluent in Spanish.
Schedule
Friday through Tuesday (Temporary to Permanent, 40 hours per week), 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (Evenings). PAID on-the-job training provided.
