Manufacturing Biotechnologist

About the role

Contract position with work hours from 9 to 5. Pay range: $27 - $28 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor bioprocessing equipment, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) systems.
• Perform basic laboratory testing, such as monitoring pH and conductivity, and collecting product samples.
• Maintain strict adherence to cGMPs, Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct routine facility cleaning, sanitization, and material transfers across production areas to support 6S standards.
• Complete batch records and actively participate in daily shift exchanges and continuous improvement meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Ability to work on the production floor in full PPE/gowning and follow detailed SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math and automated equipment skills.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
• Prior experience in cGMP biomanufacturing or protein purification.
