Manufacturing Associate - Material Handler

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to work in our Richburg, SC facility. This role is responsible for performing various tasks in the Finishing Department to ensure production goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as a Straightener Operator, Peeler Operator, Grinder Operator, Mark and Pack, Saw Operator, and Crane Operator.
• Use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and measuring tapes.
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes.
• Use heat-treating furnaces to accurately heat treat both bar and coil products.
• Use specific mill instructions to correctly regulate furnaces and adjust for non-conformances.
• Aid in setting up machines.
• Follow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma / GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
