Job Description

Manufacturing Associate Level 1 – Material Handler is responsible for safely moving, storing, staging, and supplying materials that support daily manufacturing operations. This role works closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available where and when they are needed. The position may also assist with grinding and tumbling operations as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Safely move, store, stage, and supply materials for daily manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Assist with grinding and tumbling operations as needed.
• Operate forklifts when trained or as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus (not required).
• Forklift experience is a plus; training can be provided.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials regularly.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely.

Work Environment

Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, dust, noise, and moving equipment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
