Vanguard EMS, Inc. is dedicated to serving its customers, suppliers, and communities. The Manufacturing Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining quality standards by collaborating with team members and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect boards for compliance with regulatory standards
• Perform WIP transactions in Vanguard's software system for traceability
• Communicate quality issues to relevant teams and management
• Stop workflow to address defective products
• Create a positive team environment and maintain workspaces
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• High-level critical thinking, analysis, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Strong leadership, teambuilding, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to use a microscope and manipulate small components
• Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in SMT, through-hole, wave, or selective solder processes
• J-STD and IPC certification preferred
