About the role

The Manufacturing Associate will support key manufacturing operations that are critical to delivering high-quality products while gaining foundational skills in a fast-paced production environment. Main Responsibilities

  • Assist and support various levels of production in compressor and sub-assembly
  • Maintain proper inventory levels
  • Maintain a clean work area, tools, and parts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1–3 months of related experience or training in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and operating/safety documents
  • Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions and decimals
  • Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Dependability and strong work ethic, with the ability to complete tasks on time
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Commitment to safety and following established procedures

Pay

Pay range: $19.23 – $24.03/hr. (DOE)

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, reach with arms and hands, and use hand and finger dexterity. The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

This role operates in both office and manufacturing environments. The employee interacts with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining confidentiality as needed. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers are used regularly. In the manufacturing environment, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally to humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, heat, cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level is usually moderately loud. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as applicable.
