Manufacturing Associate-Compressor Assembly

About the role

We are looking for an entry-level Production Associate to join our Compressor and Sub-Assembly team. In this role, you will support key manufacturing operations that are critical to delivering high-quality products while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities

• Assist and support various levels of production in compressor and sub-assembly operations
• Maintain proper inventory levels by organizing and tracking materials needed for production
• Keep your work area, tools, and parts clean and well-organized to support safety and productivity standards
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the broader production team and meet operational goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1–3 months of related experience or training in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and operational/safety documents
• Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions and decimals
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Dependability and strong work ethic, with the ability to complete tasks on time
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Commitment to safety and following established procedures
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Skills

• Prior hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience operating equipment such as bandsaws, presses, or similar machinery
• Basic mechanical or technical aptitude and interest in working with tools and equipment
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and support team goals
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean and efficient workspace
• Commitment to continuous learning and improving technical skills

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to stand, reach with arms and hands, and use hand and finger dexterity
• Occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

This role operates in both office and manufacturing environments. In the manufacturing environment, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally to humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, heat, cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level is usually moderately loud. Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as applicable.

Pay

$19.23 – $24.03 per hour (DOE)
