Manufacturing Associate-Clean/Test
About the role
We’re seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented and dependable Manufacturing Associate – Clean/Test to join our growing manufacturing team in Syracuse, NY. In this role you will assemble, fabricate and test Cryocooler products, troubleshoot equipment, perform assigned tests and accurately document results. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure products meet performance specifications and quality standards, following plant safety requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. The position requires standing, reaching, hand‑finger dexterity, occasional lifting up to 50 lb, and exposure to moving mechanical parts, humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, heat, cold, electrical shock and vibration in a moderately loud manufacturing environment where mandatory PPE must be worn. The role does not offer sponsorship for work authorization. Responsibilities
- Assemble, fabricate and replace components as required.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Review production schedules, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams and schematics to determine appropriate testing procedures and equipment.
- Verify that work orders reflect the latest revisions before beginning testing procedures.
