Safety & Policy Compliance

Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Execution & Changeovers

Attain and maintain defined job objectives related to the planning and execution of production jobs and support quick changeover activities between label jobs.

Make-Ready & Cleanup Support

Assist with all external make-ready operations prior to job changeovers and perform external cleanup activities following changeovers.

Press Support Activities

• Clean ink pans and ancillary equipment
• Strip plates from cylinders
• Locate and transport dies to and from the press as required

Quality Assurance

Comply with MCC and customer quality assurance specifications. Assist with quality inspections, including viewing labels with a strobe light alongside the press operator when required.

Documentation

Complete quality assurance sheets and any associated production or quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Equipment & Workspace Care

Maintain cleanliness of machinery and organization of the assigned work area.

Operational Flexibility

Work overtime when needed based on operational demands and production schedules.

Additional Duties

Perform related duties and provide support to operations as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Entry-level role; no prior experience required.
• Print or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills required, including the ability to read and understand job tickets, measurements, and rulers (standard and metric).
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Works well in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to follow instructions. Demonstrates the ability to complete assigned tasks while maintaining a high standard of performance. Assertive, solution-focused, and able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods. Frequent walking required; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 if required. Ability to differentiate colors and meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to input data into computer systems and complete required documentation accurately.
