Manufacturing Assistant
About the role
2nd shift Manufacturing Assistant to support production operations, inventory transactions, and manufacturing documentation activities. This role will spend much of the day working within an ERP system to enter data, update work orders, maintain inventory records, and support production scheduling efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with data entry and spreadsheets, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and update work orders within an ERP system
- Perform high-volume data entry with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintain manufacturing, inventory, shipping, and receiving records
- Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts and record reconciliation
- Assist with production scheduling and production tracking
- Generate reports and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory, and Planning teams
- Assist with document control and record retention activities
- Support special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
- Ensure compliance with company quality and safety procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of administrative, manufacturing support, inventory, warehouse, or data entry experience
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience with 10-key data entry
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Manufacturing or production environment experience
- Inventory control or materials management experience
- Experience supporting quality documentation
- Production scheduling or work order experience

Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
