Job Summary

Nanobiosym is seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team of physicists, engineers, and multidisciplinary scientists. The primary responsibilities include product assembly, test data collection, and contributing to existing documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products according to the established documentation.
  • Critique documentation for efficiency and redline as necessary - be a contributor.
  • Manage production travelers and the device history record.
  • Aid in the installation of new manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tools for continuous process improvement.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement cycle time improvements.
  • Manage production workflow and yield. Maintain productivity metrics.
  • Manage the manufacturing process, fellow technicians, assemblers, and documentation.
  • May be eligible to move into a management role in the future.
  • Assist with equipment calibration scheduling, tool management, etc.
  • Perform different tasks as needed, including participation in engineering, quality, and regulatory activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in medical device manufacturing in a regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO13485 and 14971.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing.
  • Wire and cable routing experience with connectors and soldering.
  • Ability to follow manufacturing documentation and facilitate changes or corrections.
  • Knowledge of lean production methods desired.
  • Motivated, self-starter who can handle multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Thrives in a startup organization poised for growth.
  • Willing to work in a security-conscious environment.
