Job Summary
Nanobiosym is seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team of physicists, engineers, and multidisciplinary scientists. The primary responsibilities include product assembly, test data collection, and contributing to existing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to the established documentation.
- Critique documentation for efficiency and redline as necessary - be a contributor.
- Manage production travelers and the device history record.
- Aid in the installation of new manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and tools for continuous process improvement.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement cycle time improvements.
- Manage production workflow and yield. Maintain productivity metrics.
- Manage the manufacturing process, fellow technicians, assemblers, and documentation.
- May be eligible to move into a management role in the future.
- Assist with equipment calibration scheduling, tool management, etc.
- Perform different tasks as needed, including participation in engineering, quality, and regulatory activities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in medical device manufacturing in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with ISO13485 and 14971.
- Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing.
- Wire and cable routing experience with connectors and soldering.
- Ability to follow manufacturing documentation and facilitate changes or corrections.
- Knowledge of lean production methods desired.
- Motivated, self-starter who can handle multiple activities simultaneously.
- Thrives in a startup organization poised for growth.
