About the Role
We’re looking for students to learn about parts and assemblies engineered in Sugar Land, TX. You’ll be surrounded by expertise that can teach you how to assemble products from engineering drawings, work instructions, and other resources. You’ll also work with industry-standard computer software such as Enterprise Resource Planning software and gain warehouse-related experience.
This is a physical job—you may be on your feet for 90% to 95% of your workday. You will be expected to safely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, and daily activities include bending, stretching, and climbing ladders.
Responsibilities
- Be introduced to technical specifications, engineering drawings, and follow work instructions
- Assemble engineered products and learn about the source of manufactured parts, such as CNC lathes and mills
- Learn how Oil and Gas products are tested and perform the testing
- Take on various warehouse tasks including inventory, receiving, and shipping
- Meet departmental delivery goals by prioritizing and completing workload in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as needed

Requirements
- Comfortable in a warehouse setting and working outdoors in areas without climate control
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, stretching, climbing ladders)
This position is open to candidates interested in working full time and current students interested in working part time after school hours (afternoon to early evening).
