Manufacturing and Facilities Engineer
Responsibilities
- Lead facility and capital improvement projects that enhance plant performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by identifying and resolving equipment, process, and automation issues
- Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting production equipment and improving system performance
- Partner with maintenance teams to address recurring equipment challenges and implement long-term solutions
- Apply advanced manufacturing methods involving automation, conveyor systems, assembly technologies, and material handling improvements
- Support process development and innovation efforts in areas such as molding, assembly, distribution, and harness manufacturing
- Contribute to new product introduction and lifecycle management initiatives by helping prepare equipment and processes for successful implementation
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and priorities related to facility, automation, and manufacturing improvements
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement and modernization efforts
- Support compliance with applicable corporate technology and export control requirements
Qualifications
- A two-year or four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers
- Proficiency with PLC ladder logic, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing or facility support environment is preferred
- Experience supporting automation, capital equipment, or process improvement projects is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to equipment and manufacturing systems
- Ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple priorities in a plant environment
- Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills

A salary of up to $85,000 per year plus excellent benefits.
