Manufacturing Analyst-Quality Assurance 2

About the role

Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI), a leading manufacturer of thermal media products and a leader in environmental conservation, is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support our Industrial Media Solutions (IMS) division. This on-site, full-time position is based at our Lawrenceville campus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and report on quality trends, process capabilities, and quality deficiencies to production, engineering, and support areas while recommending appropriate resolution activities.
• Audit documentation and review quality data to ensure finished production complies with quality standards prior to shipment.
• Implement recommended preventive or corrective actions to maintain compliance with quality standards.
• Oversee the defect management process (NCRs), including assignments of defects for resolution.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions, test solution effectiveness, and provide feedback on results.
• Assist in PDCA investigations for customer, vendor, and internal problem-resolution.
• Serve as point-of-contact for external customer and vendor inquiries.
• Participate in internal quality system and process evaluations to identify compliance issues and areas for corrective/preventive action.
• Follow up to assess the proper identification of the problem cause and implementation of effective countermeasures.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and communication materials.
• Respond to semi-routine inquiries about test data, causes of defects, and test findings.
