About the role

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Analyst to join our team in Warner Robins, GA. This position supports production and manufacturing processes on an off shift, requiring a strong technical background in electronics and leadership skills. The selected candidate will lead a team to meet or exceed schedule in evaluating, troubleshooting, and testing Radar systems and subassemblies, producing and repairing highly complex, mission-critical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 4-person team on second shift, ensuring production and repairs stay on schedule.
• Responsible for building and assets.
• Ensure proper labor charging with team members.
• Effectively communicate goals and objectives to team members and leadership.
• Provide feedback for performance reviews for team members.
• Understand and comply with all quality and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrate personal integrity and high ethical standards in all internal relationships.
• Work a 9/80 schedule (8, 9-hour days, alternating Friday 8 hours and the other Friday off).
• Provide production and repair status in PowerPoint presentations for leadership.
• Resolve problems to keep production moving.
• Assist and guide technicians in developing their technical skills.
• Learn functional environmental screening test stations, lower-level subassembly testing, and provide technical support for those.
• Perform component-level troubleshooting of DC and RF electronics.
• Aid technicians in fault isolation of components.
• Write procedures to document repair techniques in conjunction with engineering.
• Provide guidance and organize workflow as a team lead in an equipment build and fabrication setting.
• Work with Engineering to develop or update work instructions.
• Provide reporting as requested to Operations Leadership.
• Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble electronic subassemblies.
• Wire circuits, replace components, and repair electronic assemblies.
• Perform test readings using instruments such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Curve Tracers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Digital Multimeters.
• Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments.
• Apply practical electronic theory and use basic tools.
• Complete solder certification.

Requirements

• Associate degree in an electronics-related field OR Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in an electronics-related position, AND 4+ years of relevant electronics experience.
• 6+ years of relevant electronics experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree (with High School Diploma/GED).
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to work on-site, second shift, in Warner Robins, Georgia.
• Leadership experience.
• Component-level troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions, and other process documents.
• Must be able to collaborate in a team environment.
• Secret US Government clearance OR the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Qualifications

• RF experience.
• Test equipment experience, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Curve Tracers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, and Digital Multimeters.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System for production and Gold for repairs.
• Experience managing workflow in an electronic assembly environment.
• Current Secret US Government clearance or ability to secure one.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $65,500.00 – $98,300.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions when determining base salary offers. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
