Manufacturing Analyst 1

Location: Palmdale, California (Onsite)

About the role

This position involves supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. The role includes performing activities in various cross-functional areas, including production planning and control, quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.

Responsibilities

• Track daily costs and administer earned value management activities.
• Maintain visibility charts and provide weekly and monthly status reports.
• Close and document tool orders for assembly tooling.
• Oversee the validation of incoming materials against the bill of material.
• Develop internal tooling packages.
• Liaise with support organizations to negotiate schedules.
• Order and record chemical usage, ensuring proper inventory within tracking systems.
• Manage tool control and accountability activities, including inventory, audits, and asset management.
• Handle technical administrative tasks such as certification compliance, meeting support, and team engagement.

Requirements

Education: A Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, a Master's Degree with 1 year of experience, or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Cost account management experience.
• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Suite capabilities (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Must be highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator.
