Job Summary

This role directly engages in a team of teams manufacturing environment by executing technical processes, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across shared work areas and production lines. In this role, you will be based at the new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility where we support the manufacturing of hydraulic actuators for today’s aircraft. As a Manufacturing Aerospace Technician, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop while pursuing a rewarding career with some of the latest automated manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Technical Processes: Follow standardized work and execute manufacturing processes across multiple product lines. Maintain process variables and support 5S, safety, daily management, and production flow.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work within a flexible, cross-trained team environment to support production goals. Accurately log operations and coordinate effectively across functions.

  • Resolve Issues: Identify and address routine process and production issues using standard methods. Escalate and support problem-solving efforts, including root cause and corrective actions.

  • Ensure Product Quality: Verify product quality through inspection and adherence to specifications, procedures, and standards. Ensure work meets quality requirements and escalate non-conformances as needed.

  • Build People & Process Capability: Participate in training, cross-learning, and continuous improvement efforts. Support development of team capability and contribute to improved processes and standard work.

Qualifications

  • Technical Process Knowledge: Demonstrates understanding of manufacturing processes, aerospace drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation to execute work accurately.

  • Mechanical & Tool Proficiency: Applies mechanical aptitude to safely use tools, equipment, and measurement instruments in production environments.

  • Team Communication: Communicates clearly and effectively across team members and functions to support workflow, resolve issues, and align on priorities.

  • Adaptability & Team Contribution: Works effectively in a flexible, cross-trained environment by adapting to changing priorities and contributing to team success, and openly gives and receives feedback from all teams.

  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves routine operational issues using structured methods and supports root cause and corrective action activities.

  • Analytical Thinking: Applies basic analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate processes, and support operational improvements.

  • Quality & Documentation Discipline: Maintains high standards of quality by following procedures, ensuring accuracy, and completing required documentation correctly.

  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrates precision in execution, inspection, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

  • Training & Instruction: Supports training, onboarding, and knowledge sharing by communicating processes clearly and assisting others in skill development.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Applies lean principles and participates in improvement efforts to enhance processes, efficiency, and team capability.

Pay

  • Manufacturing Aerospace Technician I: Pay starting at $26.50/hourly, with consideration for relevant experience, skills, and qualifications

  • Manufacturing Aerospace Technician II: Pay starting at $30.25/hourly, with consideration for relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
