About the role

Works at Wrap, Oven, Gerber, Press, and Packaging performing job tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes cell tasks by establishing priorities with Production Supervisor and instructing and organizing staff.
• Communicates scheduling deviations, material issues, and maintenance needs to Production Supervisor.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing work cell on the use of PPE, and cleaning and maintaining machines, and relaying information to the Safety Committee.
• Meet and exceed traceability requirements by ensuring data is logged correctly, deviations are noted, and scrap is being moved off the production floor on a bi-weekly basis.
• Trains and completes training records for cell associates and ensures cell associates have continued training to excel.
• Continuously sets and exceeds aesthetic standards for prefinished goods, communicates expectations and standards to cell associates.
• Contributes to team effort and morale by adjusting to change easily and maintaining a professional attitude.
• Identify material and follow schedules in all work cells.
• Operate the PSA oven and perform Standard Product Verification.
• Performs ply cut and assists the Gerber Operator.
• Performs layup accurately.

Requirements

• Ability to work standing all day and lift fifty pounds repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Desired to have a minimum of one year to two years experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Candidate must be able to handle multiple duties in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail are a must.
• Candidate must have strong eye/hand coordination.
• Ability to learn or knowledge of the Hesco Armor production process.
• Computer skills are a plus (working knowledge of Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel).

Pay

17.5–18.5 per hour
