Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with your team on implementing hands-on activities and projects based on children’s interests and skills.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for assigned subject areas.
• Create and provide learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration, problem-solving, critical, and creative thinking.
• Model respectful interactions with students of diverse backgrounds while responding to their individualized needs.
• Teach multiple classes throughout the day, supervise children, play with, and inspire them, collaborate with colleagues, cover classes (assigned and as needed), and communicate with parents.

Requirements

• Three-year minimum of teaching experience as a Teacher.
• A degree in education, preferred.
• An excellent understanding of child development and preschool educational methods.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.

Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor’s degree.
• CPR Certification (preferred).
• Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

Flexible scheduling options available:

• 8-hour shift: Full-Time: 40 hours per week plus a one-hour lunch.
• 5-hour shift: Part-Time: 25 hours per week plus a half hour lunch.
