Responsibilities

• Direct workers engaged in production activities to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe production of conforming products.
• Train employees, plan, assign, and direct work, and address complaints or resolve problems in the absence of the department supervisor.
• Assist with production tasks as needed and operate lifting devices.
• Identify opportunities for involvement in safety, environmental, process improvements, and overall operational enhancements.
• Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.
• Read, understand, and follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and EHS Work Instructions.
• Report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly to a supervisor or management.
• Shut down processes if unsafe conditions arise and follow proper machine shutdown procedures.
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• 3G weld certification or ability to pass a weld test.
• Experience setting up and operating machines and welding equipment.
• Knowledge of blueprints and weld details.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good attendance record.

Pay

Starting wage: $26.14/hour.
