About the role
This position will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Regis estate planning practice, establishing technical standards and quality benchmarks
- Build and mentor an elite team of estate planning strategists focused on UHNW families
- Engage directly with highly complex estate planning cases as the senior technical authority
- Design comprehensive, advanced estate plans for clients with intricate balance sheets
- Integrate estate planning strategies within broader financial plans in collaboration with senior advisors
- Manage relationships with select, ultra-high net worth clients, typically with assets exceeding $100M
- Represent Regis in client development and industry events to elevate the firm's profile
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state
- Over 20 years of experience in estate planning, primarily with clients worth $50M+, particularly $100M+ families
- Experience leading high-performing estate planning teams in wealth management or private wealth legal settings
- Deep expertise in federal transfer tax law and advanced wealth transfer planning techniques
Pay
$300,000 – $450,000 annually
