Managing Partner
About the role
Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Managing Partner (General Manager) to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and ensure that Legendary Food and Legendary Service are consistently delivered.
Responsibilities
- Enforce compliance with all employment policies
- Direct work of management team, set schedules, assign responsibilities
- Manage performance of management team through directionals, evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Hire and interview management and hourly employees
- Oversee food, labor, and liquor costs, manage P&L, plan and prepare inventories and budgets
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- Control food and labor costs, maintain cleanliness, enforce security measures
- Oversee incentive programs, develop key employees, train in employment policies
- Understand and practice safe food handling procedures
- Communicate with vendors and support centers, maintain restaurant culture
- Handle stress and problems in a high-volume environment
Requirements
- 2+ years or more as a GM, MP, or Multi-Unit manager in a full-service concept
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- The ability to problem solve and handle stress in a high-volume environment
