As the Managing Optometrist, you will lead and own the business within the marketplace and organization, delivering the brand promise through superior patient experience and key performance metrics. Responsibilities

• Create a compelling vision for the future, develop clear goals, and ensure executional excellence in partnership with Regional and Store Manager(s).
• Set and communicate clear objectives, demonstrating commitment to exceed results through KPI management and high accountability.
• Ensure LensCrafters is known as the leading optical provider within the community.
• Operate as a stakeholder within the organization and local market, placing the patient/customer as the central focus.
• Deliver excellent service and strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs.
• Lead and manage the team in providing unsurpassed patient service excellence.
• Address all patient/customer visual lifestyle needs and build long-term relationships.
• Provide a summary of patient/customer overall eye health and conduct service in accordance with protocol.
• Establish a positive doctor/patient relationship and utilize technology to enhance patient experience.
• Ensure effective communication with all office and store associates for a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain office quality systems and state licensure, practicing to the full scope of that license.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members, delivering feedback in a timely manner.
• Conduct performance management and create a positive culture linked to corporate vision and values.
• Engage and lead effective store huddles, and conduct chart audits with Associate Optometrist.
• Recruit, interview, and select high-caliber talent, forecasting staffing needs and adjusting levels as required.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure office appearance aligns with company guidelines.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Knowledge of current Optometric technology and practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Knowledge of sound business management practices.
