Responsibilities

  • Create a compelling vision for the future, develop clear goals and operating plans, and ensure executional excellence and winning results in partnership with Regional and Store Manager(s).
  • Set and communicate clear objectives and expectations; demonstrate commitment to exceed results through strong competency in KPI management and high accountability.
  • Ensure LensCrafters is known as the leading optical provider within the community.
  • Operate as a stakeholder to all within the organization and local market, placing the patient/customer as the central focus and delivering excellent service.
  • Strive to exceed expectations on all KPIs and lead/manage the team in providing unsurpassed patient service excellence.
  • Address all patient/customer visual lifestyle needs and build lifelong relationships, becoming their sole family practitioner.
  • Listen carefully to patients'/customers' questions or concerns and provide a summary of their overall eye health.
  • Conduct service in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care, establishing a positive doctor/patient relationship.
  • Utilize and leverage all technology to deliver an unsurpassed patient/customer experience.
  • Demonstrate effective communication with all office and store associates to ensure a seamless patient experience and transition.
  • Ensure office quality systems are maintained and maintain state licensure, practicing to the full scope of that license.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements and provide effective on-the-job training and guidance to team members.
  • Deliver feedback in a timely manner to all associates and confront problem performers directly and without delay.
  • Create a positive culture linked to corporate vision and values, engaging and leading effective store huddles.
  • Conduct chart audits with Associate Optometrists and recruit, interview, and select high-caliber, success-oriented talent.
  • Forecast staffing needs based on available information and assign associates using the labor scheduling model.
  • Quickly adjust staffing levels to meet unexpected increases or decreases in office traffic and patient demand.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, acknowledge receipt of physical inventory, and maintain the appearance of the office.
  • Ensure visual displays are in accordance with company-provided guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for all.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Knowledge of current optometric technology and practices.
  • Developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of sound business management practices.

Pay

Pay range: $132,138.75 - $184,636.58. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
