Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Managing Engineer with expertise in ADAS and/or AVs for our Vehicle Engineering Practice in our Phoenix, AZ; Natick, MA; or Menlo Park, CA office. In this role, you will work as part of a team executing consulting projects that involve the analysis and testing of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS); automated vehicles; vehicle, engine, and component performance; federal emissions and fuel economy testing; mechanical failures; safety assessments; federal and state regulations; and the design of consumer and industrial products.

Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team executing consulting projects involving ADAS, AVs, and vehicle/systems design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and grow the Vehicle Engineering Practice by generating new business and projects.
- Manage and foster strong client relationships.
- Identify business development opportunities.
- Manage, mentor, and provide project work for junior consulting staff.
- Set up and execute various test programs, including full-scale vehicle tests and component/control systems evaluations.
- Continuously develop specialized expertise in the automotive field, such as the design, performance, and testing of existing or emerging automotive technology.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of work experience in ADAS, automated vehicles (AVs), and/or vehicle and automotive system design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship or processing required.
- Leverage industry connections to generate new business and projects.
- Manage and foster strong client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact with managers, engineers, non-technical personnel, and clients and present technical topics in a cogent and comprehensible manner.
- Strong leadership and communication skills and experience mentoring junior staff.
- Field and/or lab measurement experience with good hands-on skills.
- Versatile, team-oriented, willing to work overtime and travel when required.

- Salary Range: USD $190,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.
