Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Serve as a leader of the Private Bank for the region including liaising with national functions such as National Sales Effectiveness, Wealth Planning, Fifth Third Investment Management Group, Personal Trust, and Insurance.
  • The primary objective is to grow revenue, by deepening client relationships and acquiring new clients while enhancing client experience for the Private Bank of the assigned region.
  • Achieve the region’s Private Bank goals for AUM, balance sheet, specialty fee and HH growth as well as Net income and PPNR.
  • Create effective sales culture and high performing team of credentialed Wealth Management Advisors (WMAs), Private Bankers and Private Bank client service associates and specialists; lead team to achieve performance productivity goals while enhancing employee engagement.
  • Led Talent Acquisition and Management; Actively recruit, develop, coach and retain individuals in the above positions.
  • Develop and leverage internal and external talent pipelines
  • Lead and execute on the "One Bank" strategy with the other lines of business to acquire new business
  • Deliver excellent and consistent client experience to all households in the Private Bank; achieve client experience metrics.
  • Execute on defined operating rhythms, sales management practices and disciplined expense management reflecting a well-run organization with a focus on operational excellence
  • Represent the bank as the senior wealth leader in the region and enhance the Private Bank brand through speaking opportunities, board involvement and community service.
  • Assist Region President with development of growth initiatives while working closely on special service needs.
  • Drive prospect pipelines and generate new business through individual efforts, COIs and successful execution and follow up of region marketing activities.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential by providing challenging opportunities; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILTIES REQUIRED

  • BS/BA required.
  • CFP/CFA and MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years related Investment experience (e.g., investment management and trust).
  • Proven business development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
