Key Responsibilities
- Originate and execute sell-side M&A, buy-side M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements.
- Advise clients on debt and equity financing solutions, including private placements, syndicated financings, structured capital solutions, and other capital markets transactions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with middle market corporations, private equity firms, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Partner with Corporate Banking and other internal teams to identify opportunities and deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Lead all phases of transaction execution, including marketing, structuring, due diligence, negotiations, and closing.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction-related documentation.
- Negotiate transaction terms and manage client communications throughout the deal process.
- Mentor and develop junior bankers while helping build and strengthen the overall franchise.
- Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and business development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all firm and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Managing Director or senior Director level investment banking professional with a demonstrated track record of originating and executing transactions.
- Experience leading M&A advisory, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, or broader corporate finance engagements.
- Strong network of corporate relationships and proven business development capabilities.
- Experience managing complex transactions and multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating across product and industry teams.
- Strong financial, analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- Proven leadership experience and commitment to mentoring junior professionals.
